It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Amanda Fernandez

I'm a Freelance Graphic Designer based in the ever unique and creative Bridgeport, CT. I specialize in print design, marketing collateral, and brand identity. I graduated from the Shintaro Akatsu School of Design with my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and have been freelancing for nearly six years, working with a number of different clients ranging from small, local startups to large international corporations.

On a less formal note, I'm a designer that likes to learn all I can about a project and a company, and produce some really eye-catching, collaborative work with my clients. I want to know all about your business, all about your product, all about your design needs so together we can create something brilliant together— because who doesn't like to be brilliant?

I like calling my work collaborative because it really is! No one knows your business better than you and I am simply bringing my design eye and experience to the table. I do the research into your industry’s standards, your competitors, and your own personal design preferences. Communication is key in my design process and ending our project with pieces that are not only visually appealing but act as strong business assets is my goal.
